About Black SWT/ TXST

Each year SWT/TXST Black Alumni return to San Marcos, Texas to celebrate with friends, reconnect with fellow classmates, meet new faces, and build our community. Our alumni network, blackSWT•blackTXST, has and continues to shape and impact the world around us.

Did You Know

The 1st Black Homecoming Celebration was held 30 years ago from November 2-4, 1995. Themed “Reunited” and produced by the Black President Council. The weekend featured a movie night, Talent Show, Alumni & Undergraduate Social, and National Pan-Hellenic Step Show. 

Texas State Homecoming 2025

Texas State Homecoming is scheduled for October 11, 2025.  The Texas State Bobcats will be hosting the Troy University Trojans.
